Poultry farms

Every flock on track, from placement to sale

Place a flock, record each day in a minute, follow vaccinations by age and compare it with the breed standard, then see its FCR, cost and profit when it's sold.

The challenge

What gets in the way

Small losses add up unseen

A few deaths a day, a feeder left empty or a drop in laying is easy to miss until the batch is already behind.

Vaccinations depend on memory

Programmes run by age, flocks are at different ages, and a missed booster can cost a whole cycle.

The real profit of a batch is unknown

Chick price, feed, vaccines, litter and labour sit in different notebooks, so FCR and profit are guessed.

How FarmoraX helps

Your workflow, step by step

  1. Place the flock

Record the birds placed in a house: day-olds or grown birds, bought or from your own hatch, with price, transport and dead on arrival.

    • Chicken, ducks, quail, turkeys and more
    • Broilers, layers, breeders or rural flocks
    • A breed standard and vaccination programme picked for it
  2. Record each day

One sheet for the day: deaths and culls with the cause, feed from stock, eggs by grade, water and a weight sample. Figures far from the standard stand out.

    • Built for the phone in the shed
    • Same as yesterday in one tap
    • Feed comes off the farm's stock
  3. Keep vaccinations and eggs on time

Programme steps fall due by the flock's age, the egg store keeps itself by grade, and the hatchery tracks candling and hatch dates.

    • Due list and alerts
    • Eggs in trays, dozens or singles
    • Fertility and hatchability per batch
  4. Sell and see the result

Sell live birds by weight or per bird, eggs by the tray or dozen, chicks and litter. Sales post to the accounts with what the buyer owes.

    • FCR and EPEF per flock
    • Cost per bird, kg or dozen
    • Profit per flock

Common questions

Which birds and flock types are covered?

Chicken, ducks, geese, turkeys, guinea fowl, quail, pigeons and other birds, kept as broilers, layers, breeders or rural / desi flocks. The setup suggests birds and strains for your country.

Do the breed standards come with it?

Typical standards and vaccination programmes are included as a starting point and labelled as typical. You can edit them or enter your own hatchery's figures.

Can a livestock farm keep a poultry shed?

Yes. Poultry is always on for a poultry farm, and any meat, dairy or breeding farm can switch it on alongside its animals.

Other solutions: Meat & fattening farms · Dairy farms · Breeding herds · Multi-farm businesses
